The low pressure caster b is a low-pressure casting machine for the production of high-quality aluminum castings. Alongside a larger clamping surface and more stroke in a smaller size, it also offers significant benefits in terms of handling and maintenance. Its compact design allows the machine to be maintained and adjusted at its operating height, without any additional equipment. Depending on the level of automation, the furnace can be exchanged and molds replaced either manually or fully automatically. For complex casting geometries, the mold upper part can be designed to be slewable. This simplifies die cleaning and increases the quality of the process. The machine can be extended modularly with specially developed standard components, thereby ensuring cost-effective production.
